5. Peer Review Process
CRR follows a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed from one another throughout the process.
The process begins when an author submits a manuscript via the online portal. The Managing Editor then conducts an initial screening to check format, scope, and for any plagiarism. Next, the Editor-in-Chief performs a desk review to assess the manuscript's suitability for peer review. The manuscript is then sent to two or three external reviewers for detailed evaluation. After receiving the reviewers' reports, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision to accept, request revisions, or reject the manuscript. Accepted manuscripts then proceed to copyediting, typesetting, and final publication.
The average time from submission to the first decision is six to eight weeks.
6. Ethical Standards
CRR adheres to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Any manuscript showing more than fifteen percent similarity with existing works (excluding references) will be rejected. All listed authors must have made a substantial contribution to the work. All parties must disclose any conflicts of interest. Authors must ensure that all data presented is accurate and verifiable. Corrections and retractions shall be issued as per COPE protocols.
